Waited longer than I thought for food but it was definitely worth the wait. Portions were large and the food was phenomenal. Friendly, courteous staff.
Delicious food and amazing presentation! I'm always bringing someone new here so they can experience it as well. And I always ask for Lacy - she's so great with her work and making you feel welcome. Can't beat their omelettes!!
Stopped here for breakfast this morning, absolutely the best breakfast I have ever eaten in my life! Our Eggs Benedict was perfect, our omelette was light and fluffy and full of good stuff, tasty biscuit gravy, delicious french toast and pancakes, the toast and strawberry jam are divine! The food, service, atmosphere, and price are excellent! We will stop again when traveling through!
Wow! Best breakfast place in Rockford, hands down. Very generous portions, and would be very easy to split for those with a smaller appetite or for kids. They do charge an extra dollar per person to split it though, but the portions are so good, I don't mind...and I usually do mind. Very modern skillets, omelets, and 'Benedict' plates. Huge selection of ingredients, not usually found at a breakfast restaurant. Very beautiful atmosphere, and very comfortable seating. Nice outdoor seating area too. And one of the best things: many organic ingredients can be added!! This place was packed, but we still managed to be seated right away. Great coffee too, and they are very attentive about keeping it warmed up. They even ask you if you want coffee to go. Absolutely amazing place. But be warned, you may not want to go anywhere else after going here!
Was happy we came here - great food cooked perfectly, good presentation! Eggs were cooked perfectly, cinnamon french toast was WONDERFUL (not too sweet!), and the skillet was HUGE! Good corned beef and coffee! Would definitely return, even with the higher noise level.
