The food was very good. However, I live an hour away. We ordered our meal, on Monday it's free pie day. I ordered coconut cream pie it was delicious! I then ordered another to take home to my husband as a little surprise. Well the surprise was on me, the pie was Banana Cream. He dislikes banana cream. I felt terrible. The I took a closer look at my receipt I was charged for 2 banana cream pie slices. I received two pies but they were suppose to be coconut cream. I was so frustrated at this discovery. If not for the mix up I would have given a five star rating.
Decent at best. Food was not warm or hot.
But when it is 2am & you want something other than McDonald's... this is the place to.go in Rockford.
Can't rate yet. Very disappointing and horrible service! Sat down. No place settings, sticky table. Ordered food and requested place settings, syrup and cream. Food came, still no syrup, and received wrong toast. Notified server. Waited awhile and finally they brought one slice of burnt toast. Notified server, she was so confused. We explained we would like the rest of our order. After 10 more minutes , I talked to the mgr and explained I finished my breakfast and my husband has cold food and is waiting on the rest of his order . The mgr apologized and graciously discounted the meal. He said today was not normally the case. My food was great,so we will give it another try and request a different server.
Waiter wasn't on his game.
The people I was with was not completely satisfied either.
The food is excellent and prices are good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, they are open 24/7. One of my new favorite places for any time of day.
Everytime I go to Perkins, I get a very satisfied service!!! The waitresses always very nice and know the menu very well! AND Of course the food is delicious!!!!
