Had lunch this afternoon when they were very busy, or so it seemed. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for a booth - 2 on one side of the restaurant were empty but not cleared of dirty dishes yet. Someone started cleaning right away but I turned to look in the room to the left of the bar and saw that there was not a single person seated in there. When I asked why that was, the greeter simply said " your booth will be ready in a minute" and walked over to where they were being cleaned. I was seated soon after that & my waitress was right there to get me a soda & take my order. The food wasn't as hot & fresh as I would have liked and was slightly over- cooked, or re-cooked, but most was OK. By this time I just needed to eat as I had to be somewhere soon. I used to go to Chili's quite a bit but my last couple of experiences will prevent me from going back for quite a while.
Walked in to pick up carry out, bartender was rude right off the bat. Then I get home to eat and our food is half the serving it usually is. Way less pasta than normal. Couldn’t even remember to give dipping sauce for egg rolls. Carry out blows.
Chili's has been our "go to" place for many years. First visits were in San Diego in the late 1970s . Went there tonight and found a new menu with many pictures and more food items deleted. Used to enjoy the Tex-Mex burritos . Ordered the Old timer (cooked medium} which has also been a favorite for years. Found a flat piece of grease that could only be cooked well done. Very disappointed! We are done.
Great food! The atmosphere was relaxed with outdoor seating on. Definitely coming back here if I'm craving some burgers!
My sisters and my niece had lunch here. The food was really good and the service was great. All of us enjoyed are lunch. I definitely plan to go back again.
