It's neat. I feel like more should be offered than chips in candy when there are cafes? Especially during big events. The staff in the museum shop seemed quite rude and judgemental. The reenactments are fun and the people in them are always incredibly nice.
Enjoyed the scarecrow making, horse drawn wagon rides, crafting activities during the annual fall event. The volunteer's made the experience fun & we look forward to many more visits. The museum is an interesting way to get to know about Rockford's history.
Fun place to explore. Lots of cool events here. Good for taking photos.
They host a lot of great events here yearly. Some events that I have been to and enjoyed are main street market, ww2 exhibit and Halloween event. They have all been put together nicely and my family and I all had great times.
Here for WWII reenactments. Always an interesting time. All questions are answered with great enthusiasm. Great place to immerse the kids in history. During the battles you can only imagine the horror of the real thing. At least these days, folks can get up and go on their way after the battle.
