Ample parking and it's never crowded. There is no cafeteria or food court, so please plan to bring your own food. You can always go out to fetch food and enter again. There are tables to sit and eat inside.
It's a great place for kids of all ages. There is a mini planetarium and the show cost $1, definitely worth the price. Overall kids can spend 4-5 hours here learning a lot of interesting things.
The kids love it. The outdoor play area is great during summer. They always get sick after playing inside though...I just want to bring in a huge bottle of Lysol. Sanitizing hands randomly isn't cutting it. Also almost every time we come there is always at least one exhibit on floor two that is out of order. They always have it fixed by the next time we come but then a different one is broke. I highly recommend getting the family membership that is good for a year. It saves a lot of money in the end. I really do love bringing my kids here, and they also love it.
Discovery center is wonderful for so many ages. My husband and I love it too! My 6 yr old and 3 yr old ask to go constantly. It's a huge learning playground. I recommend going!
This is the ultimate hands on museum. We were here for three hours, but our school age kids would have been happy to stay for much longer. Our only disappointment was that the science park was closed due to weather conditions (cold and drizzly), but our kids would have been happy to go play in it anyway. I wish they would allow people to go out at their own risk. The staff was friendly and even took our coats for us.
This is a very fun and educational place for all ages. My high schooler likes it, my granddaughters 5 and 2 like it and my grandson with special needs likes it. So great to have this available!
