If there was a way to give a negative star rating, it would probably still be too good for this place. A few years ago I took some items there, and they came back burnt and ruined. The owner was belligerent then and apparently nothing has changed. My wife took a nice white coat of mine there this past week. I picked it up yesterday. Of course, it came back with yellow stains all over it. It is a $300 coat that is now worthless. Once again, they are refusing to do anything about it. This place should be closed down. The owners seem to forget that the customers are the reason they are in business. If you want to get rid of some clothing, the best thing you can do is take it to these cleaners, you'll have to throw it away afterward.
I noticed after picking up several pairs of pants that 2 of them have small cuts over the left side rear pocket. I showed them to the clerk who said there is no way it could have happened when cleaning. So I figured since they were somewhat old that maybe it was just time to replace them. I decided to give the cleaners the benefit of the doubt and replaced them with 3 new pairs of pants. Since I still believed they were ruined by this cleaners, I made sure to inspect my clothes both before I brought them in and when I picked them up. Approximately 3 months later, I picked my cleaning up and inspected it while in the car. Sure enough, 2 of the new pants and one older pair had the same cuts over the left pocket as the previous ones. I immediately went back inside and informed the clerk. She kept the pants and informed me that her boss would contact me. After 3 weeks I heard nothing, so I stopped back in the store on north Alpine. When I asked the clerk, who was the same person I left them with, she said, "oh yeah, she said there's no way we did that". I said, "so that's it?". She said "yeah, sorry about that". I may have accepted it a little better if the "boss" would have at least called me and told me in person. After reading other reviews the "boss" obviously has no respect for his/her customers and even goes as far as to avoid talking to any of them. Please DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS!! They may be cheap but they will cost you more in the long run with having to replace your clothes!!
I would not recommend this dry cleaner to anyone. My wife and I have been very good customers for about a year now and have never had a problem till lately. They discolored my wife's nice sweater, tried to fix it and when it was obviously still discolored with a dingy appearance, refused to compensate. The owner, Andy, after a month took a quick look at the sweater and decided there is nothing he can do about it. He was impossible to get a hold of and left my wife a very short voice mail saying there is nothing else he is willing to do and she can come pick up her sweater. His own employee even agreed with us that the sweater was still discolored. Terrible business. There has to be some sort of liability for these types of incidents.
Had the absolute worst dry cleaning experience here and Alan the owner is the worst owner I have ever met ! After giving them my favorite white pair of jeans they returned them with 3 large pick stains ! after several attempts to remove them they told me there was nothing they could, instead of trying to do their best from the get go and clean them the best they could on the first try I wasted my time going back and forth 3 times and on their last attempt I so angry I was told to speak to the owner who was so rude and unapologetic and told me they could not do anything for me . If this is how they treat their customers they don't deserve to be in business . Please don't waste your time and money here , go somewhere else where they will appreciate your business
the price was fantastic, with a coupon it's a $1.75 per garment. wow, what a value. I take a ton to them and have been so happy. Andy is a great owner, and is totally fair to his customers. That's the reason he is sooo busy.
