I don't know why but of all the box stores in the area. I like Lowe's. They go out of there way to help and always smile as if they were happy with themselves for being able to help.
Had an over the range microwave installed by Lowes and their installation guy started a fire on the stove destroying both the stove and my harwood floors with burning ashes. He refused to clean any of it up and told us good luck getting it fixed as he left. Lowes is refusing to do anything to correct it saying we must have started the fire after their guy left. Needles to say I canceled the other orders I had for them to install and will never shop there again for any of my houses.
went for safety glasses... did not find ANY with an anti fog coating. other than that... good place.
Very upset after buying a washer and dryer here, I take off half of a day of work to get them but receive no call the night before or the day of until the delivery guys were already there. Turns out Lowes gave them the wrong number to call (after confirming my number with 2 employees that that should be the number called). They wouldn't come back that day even though I was at home within 8 minutes of getting the call. Then they also say they won't come Friday morning when I offered to take of more work AGAIN. So I offered to take of Saturday morning, again as long as they can come the earliest slot 8am-10am. Spoke with both lowes and their 3rd party delivery service. Confirmed my number yet again. I get a call Friday night saying they'll be here from 10-12pm already fuming because I now have to take more time off, to keep from running into problems again, my boyfriend also took off to make sure we got them and GOOD THI HE DID BECAUSE I I STILL, again, DID NOT RECIEVE A CALL TO TELL ME WHEN THEYVWERE COMING! Lowes was very apologetic and kind and did offer 10% back but that's not much compared to the $796 we are now out of from taking off work AND paying someone to come by and fix it because it wasn't even hooked up correctly and there was soapy water all over my basement floor. I'm not usually a complainer but we're not wealthy, we're a young couple each working 2 jobs trying to pay off a home, prepare for a wedding and children so when almost $800 is taken from that.. I'm gonna be frustrated
Service and knowledge of products and applications was excellent. Made my project easy.
