Stopped by this nail salon as I was in IL for a wedding. Got a spa pedicure and treated two nieces to manicures. No appointment needed and the entire staff were so friendly. Since we were visiting, they gave us all kinds of places to visit and eat. Great experience and lovely staff.
Just went this past Sunday, (11-12) and one of my nails broke last night. Philip was too concerned about the stupid football game on the tv, and he did a half-assed job on my nails. The French tip he did, is mediocre at best. ONE coat of polish, and I said I did NOT want gel polish, and he used gel anyways. I made a comment about the polish and he said no it’s ok, no it’s ok and I said I’m not paying for gel. I clearly told you no. He just shrugged and went back to watching the tv. They overcharged me ALOT!! When I do the math on my calculator. I was obviously charged for something I didn’t get done.
Philip is rude & shouldn’t be doing nails if he wants to watch tv. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement!!
JUST SPOKE WITH HIM!! He said he won’t refund any money, will fix the nail for $3. Told me it was my fault, I should’ve said something. I said I tried but he was too busy with the football game, he told me I was a liar, and to bring my receipt. I told him I didn’t have a receipt as the girl didn’t give me one. I have the charge in my bank account. He said bring the bank account in and he might refund!!

I got the no chip manicure for the first time. When I came back from out of town a girl at work (who has her nails done often) said, "didn't you just get your nails done?" After one week my no chip was chipped on two fingernails and looked as grown out as hers that had been done 3 weeks ago. She suggested I call and ask about redoing them. I did and they said sure come in today. When I got there they said they would fix the two chipped ones but continually argued with me about how I waited too long to complain. Even though I paid $30 for a manicure they never soaked my fingers or pushed the cuticles back. Hence why they looked so grown out so soon. When I told them my cuticles never got done his response was, "well the white girl who did your nails knows what she's doing so I don't know why it wouldn't have been done." Essently felt I was being accused of lying about the service I received. I was trying to ask prices about paying for the difference between a polish change and the manicure I never received so I could pay the difference to have them done right and the guy kept arguing over me about how if I bought spoiled fruit I wouldn't have waited a week to return it. Being that I am not usually easily dissatisfied I was pretty disappointed with the level of customer service that I was recieving. I told them to forget it and left. Just won't go there again : /

They won’t speak English when discussing pricing so we don’t have any idea wth is going on. I argued that the amount wasn’t right, and I was told yes it’s right and she snatched my card out of my hand. I’m going to call today to complain and see if they’ll refund anything and fix my broken nail or not. I’ve been to this place twice. First visit was good, pricey but good.
That totals $77, yet I was told I had to pay $90 PLUS TIP!! I gave them $7 in cash, so it was almost $100 that day. And my daughters eyebrows are crooked as hell!!!
I usually only come here to get my nails done. They do an amazing job and are very friendly. :)
This time NOT SO MUCH. I won’t be returning regardless of what is done today.
CROOK!! CROOK!! CROOK!!! What an greedy jerk. He also said that those amounts don’t total $77!!! Seriously...I’m turning this place in to the BBB.
