I absolutely love the sushi here. Their sushi rolls are the largest in town that I've seen. The rice in the sushi is very flavourful. The fish is fresh and they have great vegetarian options. They have a cozy atmosphere. This is now my favorite place to stop after work for dinner.
Best Asian style restaurant in town for sure. Small and cozy but the secrete is out about this place, come early. Saturday, homemade crab rangoon's are worth the trip alone. Mai Tais are amazing. I order the Korean beef kebabs often, good choice! The pork chop is great and the filet is delicious. There are other BIG Japanese/Asian style restaurants with somewhat similar menus but this place is not like them. Everything is fresh. You can tell the difference from your first bite.
Great food! We had crab cakes and a 22 Oz ribeye steak. The mango salsa on the crab cakes really set them apart. Excellent cut of steak was prepared perfectly. Thank you great job.
My issue is that it used to be a LOT better. Last visit we got horrible service. Marc is great...top notch sushi chef. Jim is back and is a wonderful cook. The waitresses leave something to be desired though. I don't need to list the problems but it will be a while before I go back.
A bit underwhelmed. Sushi for me is very visual and this was lacking. The yellowtail rolls I ordered were overstuffed, uneven and separating. The smoked salmon salad was huge slices of sliced smoked salmon that you can get at the grocery store, seaweed salad and extra long pieces of radish that you had to cut to eat. The miso soup was ok. The small warm sake, at $6, was over-priced. I don't know if I'm a snobish sushi eater or maybe I had too high of expectations based on the reviews but I won't be returning for a second meal.
