Great place for a business meeting. Quiet and very unique atmosphere. Great menu, good soups. Service has always been good. Highly recommend.

This was my first time here and I enjoyed it every much. Our food was a little running a little behind, so both managers showed up at our table and told us why. They then said that we could get a dessert trio platter for free to make up for the inconvenience. The food and our server, Frank, were both stellar. I would definitely go back again.
Waited along time for our drinks only to have the server return after 15 minutes to confirm our original order she evidently forgot to put in. Took almost an hour to get serve our appetizers and when they came it was obvious they were done a while ago and had been sitting and got cold. Our drinks were 50/50 with mine being ok and my wifes not. I have a lot of faith in servers but take issue when you order a pretty specific order and they attempt to remember it without writing it down, only to have it come wrong. Had our dinner without serving plates, utensils, or napkins for 10 minutes.. evidently our server had usuals there that she needed to converse with over taking care of her tables.. Worst experience to date at any Granite City to date. Fortunately, our past experiences will have us coming back with hopes of a rebound.
Lunch specials are the way to go if the time is right. Turkey and wild rice soup was fantastic. Pasta with chicken and sausage was worth getting. Burgers are a bit overpriced for what they are.
