The roast pork meal was delicious, as were the crisp salad and apple dessert. But why were we given soup spoons for use with coffee and dessert?
The people at the restaurant made it a nice celebration for our daughter's wedding celebration. Food was good and all went very nice. Thanks to everyone
On 8-19-17, Franchesco’s catered my wedding at DC Estate Winery. Planning from start to finish was a 5-star experience. First off, this is a locally owned and operated business, and the entire family takes a lot of pride in what they do. I worked with Michelle for planning the big day, and she was very responsive, very helpful, and very thorough in all of the details. It was obvious they had catered many large parties before because they didn’t miss a beat. And although this is “what they do”, my experience seemed very personalized. We served 130 guests a delicious surf-n-turf with a small filet and orange roughly. I told my (at the time) fiancé that the one thing I wish for most at our wedding was for everyone to enjoy the food (because let’s face it, wedding food is usually very mediocre). Not this time though! Everyone RAVED about the food. We heard from several guests how shocked they were that they ate every last bite and practically licked the plate clean! It certainly makes a difference when the owner of the restaurant has his sleeves rolled up on a Saturday night working the grill and managing the staff! Bottom line… My husband and I truly enjoyed working with this family, and we felt great giving them our business. I often joke to people that the 1 problem with our wedding is that it’s unfortunately only a 1 time event. Because if I could do it all over again, I’d do it in a heartbeat, and Franchesco’s would be one of the first calls I’d make!
I was extremely pleased with this establishment. The restaurant came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very elegant, the food was delectable, and the personnel were of the utmost professional. Highly recommend this place.
Very nice ambiance for a celebration dinner or a date. Piano music, good service, and very good food. A bit on the pricey side but not outrageous.
