I called to see if they had a carrot cake, and they did. I was thrilled the lady informed me that they did have one and she had just frosted it. Wonderful, I will be there in an hour. Fast forward to today. Cake was frosted and when I started to cut the cake it just started crumbling, no carrots,no raisins, just a spice cake with coconut under the frosting. So disappointing. I was a first time customer and it will be the last. So not what I expected, will use my hometown bakery.....so much for trying something new.
They made the cake for me on the same day that I called, so we were able to enjoy my wife's birthday! The cake was delicious, and we will be returning.
Bella Luna is such a cute little bakery. I've tried many different things from them and everything has been delicious (but I think the cheesecake has been my favorite). Everyone who works there has always been so pleasant and friendly. It's a treat to visit in multiple ways!
Stopped in after lunch for a bit of cherry topped cheese cake. Phenomenal! Cute retro table and chairs to eat at. A little pricey but it was a nice experience.
(If you go in through the S Main St entrance, you won't have to navigate the whole building.)
I was not expecting a Sicilian bakery to have Scandinavian coffee cake, but they deliver! My local bakery closed and I've been trying to find a reliable place to get baked goods for the holidays. Very friendly women and free coffee while you wait. I'm excited to try more.
