B. Mace responded to a call to 2551 Four Winds Dr , Rockford, Il yesterday, July 26,2017. After arrival, he quickly established his position as the one in charge/control and he was there to do his job what ever that entailed. He presented a calm but serious demeanor. He left no doubt that he knew what he was trained to do. Keep the peace.
Both men deserve mention as two officers that are out there doing what they were called to do.
My initial impression of Mr. Mace (he arrived first) was with his personality; he was so approachable/not distant.
Both Officiers, Mace and Thompson, took a sensitive, tense, and escalating situation and did their job.

A. Thompson arrived later and stepped right in to join Officer Mace. He, too, worked with confidence and was quick to assess the moment and act accordingly.
