An angel statue I put by my parents grave was taken, the angel was put the July 8th of the same year. The 5th anniversary of our parents death. It has been there since. Today, I came to decorate, and the angel is gone! I was told by the Scandinavian Cemetery, that they removed everything on the grounds every March 1st and October 1st. It was there last March. They said they don't save anything, really? All this years, and now they decide to throw away my parents angel!
Home to 1000s of Swedes. Well kept grounds with great office girls. Polly is one of the nicest. Has a lot of very interesting monuments. P.A. Peterson is buried here. One of the founding Fathers of Rockford. His former home still stands on East St. in Rockford. The Hospital owns it now. Gary Johnson

A peaceful, safe spot to go for walks around and enjoy the quiet while paying some respect to the people buried there.
