Great if you are looking for antique books.
These two fellows have a nice collection. Kinda like what one would expect from two bookish older guys, the store has books strewn all over the place but overall a good place to find that older book you've been looking for elsewhere and can't seem to find.
Kinda pricey but hey, books are treasures of the ages.
Two of the fears that people who buy used books online have are (1) that the books will not be as described and (2) that, even if they are as described, they will be packaged poorly and thus beat up during shipment. I've bought hundreds of books online, one of which—an old, expensive legal book—I bought from The Book Stall, which described the condition of the book honestly and packaged it with meticulous care. Thus, I now trust The Book Stall and would gladly do business with it again. It is a first-rate bookshop.
